Fear is probably the single-most thing in our lives that hold us back from success.

When we have fear dwindling beneath the surface of our mind, often it encourages doubt.

Doubt usually encourages low-self esteem, and lack of self confidence, which holds us back from success in life.

These conditions often have debilitating effects on one’s body and mind. Yet, we can use self-talk to remove these doubts and fear.

Define your Fear

Some of us rely heavily on burying fears rather than confronting them head on. Ignoring the fear does not make it go away. The best way to face your fear is to challenge it and face it head on.

For example, if you are afraid of heights, you could take an airlift or plane ride and master that fear.

If you have a fear of public speaking, you could join your local Toast Masters club and get trained to speak in public in the safety of the Toast Masters group.

If you have a fear of asking people to dance, you could join a dance club which will improve your dancing skills which in turn will increase your self-confidence.
