Welcome to healtalk.com
This site is open to all people from any recovery program.
I don't care if your fellowship is Narcotics Anonymous, Co-dependents Anonymous, Alcoholics Anonymous, Emotions Anonymous, Overeaters Anonymous, or any other recovery program. You are welcome here.
Healtalk.com does not give advice or suggest that you do anything. The purpose of healtalk.com is to share some experience, strength and hope for all people who are participating in the process of recovery.
At no time will healtalk.com be held responsible for the thoughts, feelings or actions of another. Responsibility means being responsible for our thoughts, feelings and actions. Response-Ability. Ability to Respond.
First Things First
You may choose to participate in the process of your own growth at your own pace from where ever is your starting point. Healtalk.com cannot determine where you are at, only you know that.
Experience
No amount recovery
time can replace experience. Once a person experiences a particular phase of growth and empowerment, then that person qualifies to share their experience, strength and hope. All writers are requested to write according to their experience, not their philosophies or opinions.
Take what you need and leave the rest
Think of healtalk.com like a supermarket. You are walking along selecting items that you want and need. You are open minded enough to try new ideas if it may serve your growth and empowerment.
Remember this though. Growth and empowerment is not usually pleasant at the beginning. The evidence of the senses may suggest that all is not well. In most cases, mental turbulence increases until the dis-ease is dealt with.
We were not saved from drowning to be kicked to death on the beach.
